Presentations
Behaviorism Presentation |
This presentation on behaviorism focused on the use of cues and fading in an online music game. We found that the game was interesting, but was geared toward students who already had a great deal of prior knowledge. The cues and fading in the game were helpful at times, but did not last long enough to make an impact for beginners to the concepts. |
Why Students Don't Like School |
After reading Daniel Willingham's Why Students Don't Like School, our group was given the task of outlining chapter 9 and the conclusion and including a list of resources related to the material in these chapters. Simultaneously, we researched the webspiration program and developed a prezi presentation. Here are links to our webspiration picture and prezi presentation. |
Key Topics in Technology and Education
This website was created by our group to explore the social and ethical uses of technology in education. Each page has an annotated list of links geared toward educators and educational leaders. These links will help teach students and teachers about the appropriate use of technology in the classroom and help students become better digital citizens. |
Web 2.0 Jigsaw |
Our group made a wikispace to discover and evaluate websites focused around research tools for the classroom. Each member of the group picked a site and wrote up pros and cons with its uses as a technology tool in education. |
